The school currently has 95faculty members,including 77 full-time teachers, 75 with doctoral degrees, 31 professors, 29 associate professors, 23 doctoral supervisors and 59 master supervisors. There are 8 national talents of the Ministry of Education, and 23 provincial talents including Nan Yue Hundred Talents, Zhu Jiang Special Recruitment/Youth, and Innovation Team Leaders. There are 3 part-time professors (1 overseas academician and 1 chair professor of high-level talents of the Ministry of Education).
Moreover, more than 100 external supervisors have been employed from key enterprises and institutions in the fields of environmental science, environmental engineering and safety engineering in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area to give academic suggestions on the undergraduate and postgraduate theses.
