International Exchange

The Institute has hosted/co-hosted over 10 international and domestic conferences, including the 33^rdAnnual Academic Conference of the Society for Environmental Geochemistry and Health (SEGH 2017, held in China and Asia for the first time, with more than 500 participants and Professor Taicheng An as the Chairman).

Since 2017, more than 40 renowned domestic and foreign scholars in the field of environment have been invited to the Institute for academic exchanges. In addition, about 10 young teachers have been sent to the United States, Australia, South Korea, and other countries for academic visits and participation in international conferences. Academician Choi was appointed as a Distinguished Professor, the school has published more than 50 SCI papers in collaboration with Professor Po-Keung Wong.

The excellent teachers and students can go to the famous University for exchange study and training. Forexample, the University of California, Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon University, Texas A&M University, University of California, Riverside, University of the West of England, University of Bremen, Sydney University of Technology, Australia Griffith University, National University of Ireland, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University, Kaohsiung University of Taiwan, Chaoyang University of Science and Technology. In addition, we have established a 3+1/2 undergraduate and master's program in Environmental Science with Queen’s University Belfast, and a 3+1/2 undergraduate and master's program in Environmental Engineering with the University of Queensland Australia.
