报告人简介:程雅芳教授在德国马克斯·普朗克化学研究所领导Minerva独立研究小组(“气溶胶、空气质量和气候”),也是北京大学和中国科学技术大学客座教授。她是欧洲科学院院士,美国地球物理联合会(AGU)会士,Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres主编。已发表论文180余篇,包括在跨学科重点期刊上发表的一系列论文,以第一或通讯第一作者发表3篇Science论文,10多篇Science Advances、美国国家科学院院刊(PNAS)、Nature Communications,Chem和One Earth论文,为科睿唯安(Web of Science)高被引学者。她的研究成果获得了著名奖项和荣誉的认可,获美国地球物理联合会Joanne Simpson奖章和大气科学上升奖,Falling Walls基金会的2021年十大物理科学突破,以及德国气溶胶协会的Schmauss奖。

报告简介:Anthropogenic changes in the Earth system and climate pose grand challenges for science and society in the 21st century. Aerosols have important impact on the public health and climate change. I combined experimental methods and multi-scale modelling tools to advance mechanistic understanding of the origins, interactions, and impacts of aerosols in the Earth system. I will discuss how the advance in fundamental understanding of aerosols can help to develop effective mitigation strategies for air pollution control and climate change mitigation.
