In order to strengthen the academic atmosphere construction of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering in the new semester, help Grade 20 students further understand the overall learning situation of the grade, employment situation of professional disciplines, relevant school rules and regulations, and enhance safety awareness, our college held the 2020 undergraduate grade conference on the afternoon of September 10th in Classroom 3. The meeting is chaired by the grade counselor, Teacher Zhang Ke.
Firstly, the counselor conducts a learning situation analysis of the past year's learning situation. By comparing the GPA of each class and the number of failed students, it is reminded that students should pay attention to GPA, identify positioning, benchmark for differences, identify and fill in gaps, and make up for shortcomings. Subsequently, the meeting introduced the employment rate, salary level, employment type, graduation destination, postgraduate entrance examination and further education situation of the college's graduates this year to students, and reminded them to use the platforms and resources around them to clarify the direction of their professional division and make good career planning. Next, the counselor will focus on the school's epidemic prevention and control system, reminding students to abide by the leave and campus entry and exit approval system; Based on the Student Handbook, provide a detailed explanation of the precautions, attendance system, latest physical examination requirements, and dormitory related regulations for make-up exams, deferred exams, and retakes. Next, the meeting will provide a detailed explanation of common fraud methods and tactics to students regarding recent cases of telecommunications fraud. The focus will be on reminding students to remember not to trust, remit money, disclose information, and promptly report to the police and contact their counselors if they are found to have been scammed; At the same time, the conference introduced new types of drugs through anti drug propaganda videos and reminded students to cherish their lives and stay away from drugs. At the end of the meeting, the counselor deployed and arranged the recent work and learning content.
The convening of this grade meeting has provided guidance for the future learning planning and life of students. We hope that 2020 undergraduate students can shed their freshman youth, unite their hearts, and set sail again.
