In order to provide solid academic and employment services for graduates, on September 26th, the College of Environmental Science and Engineering held the 2024 Undergraduate Graduation Class Grade Conference in Room 3 of the University City Campus. Vice Secretary of the College Party Committee Tan Jingkang, Vice Dean Xie Wuming, and Vice Dean Ji Yuemeng attended the conference, which was chaired by counselor Zhang Ke.
Vice Dean Xie Wuming gave a detailed introduction to the training plan, mid-term assessment, graduation design, academic thesis defense, graduation and degree requirements, and urged everyone to pay attention to course learning, take exams seriously, strengthen time planning and management, and ensure smooth review of each link.
Vice Dean Ji Yuemeng is responsible for mobilizing the graduate enrollment of the college, focusing on the college's overview, academic field, career prospects, student activities, recruitment situation, and award situation to introduce the advantages and positioning of the college. She encourages students to remain firm in their original aspirations, work hard and persistently, not disappoint their youth, and solidly prepare for the postgraduate entrance examination.
Tan Jingkang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, focused on promoting high-quality employment. He analyzed in detail the job seeking and employment data of recent graduates, assessed the future situation, and encouraged graduates to seize the crucial period of the "Golden September and Silver October" autumn recruitment. At the same time, Secretary Tan also put forward four requirements to his classmates: recognizing the employment situation, finding self positioning, making sufficient preparations, having a positive attitude, mobilizing students to think rationally, plan reasonably, and seize the initiative in employment and further education.
Counselor Zhang Ke further analyzes graduation related matters, provides relevant information service platforms, employment acquisition channels, campus job fair plans, and conducts job seeking skills training to enhance the employment competitiveness of students.
The convening of this conference timely sorted out and responded to the difficulties and problems faced by students during the graduation season, further helping them understand the situation and grasp the key time nodes for job seeking and further education.
