In order to enhance the working ability and level of student cadres, play the role of student cadres in serving students, and ensure the smooth and orderly progress of student work in the new semester, on the afternoon of February 23, the new semester working meeting of class cadres of the College of Environmental Science and Engineering Class of 2020 was held in the Party Building Activity Room of the East Nine, presided over by Mr. Zhang Ke, the counsellor of Class of 20, and attended by the president of the class, the secretary of the Youth League, the disciplinary commissioner, the study commissioner and the psychological commissioner, as well as the student assistants.
In view of the formation of the new class after the streaming of students in 2020, Mr Zhang discussed with the new class cadres on the question of "How to be a good student cadre?". He discussed this issue with the new class cadres, pointing out that class cadres should be "caring, sincere, and attentive", raise their political standpoint, cultivate a holistic view, enhance the efficiency of their work, refine the quality of perseverance, listen to their classmates, pay attention to the practical experience, and abandon the utilitarian mentality. Then, Mr Zhang used the three classic laws of management about execution to inspire the class leaders to make good use of the dispersal of responsibility effect, the herd effect and the Pygmalion effect in their work with students, and to take the initiative to learn the relevant skills.
In terms of class management, Teacher Zhang and class cadres discussed the situation of students, and made work deployment for the new semester around the construction of academic style, mental health education, guidance for further education and employment, anti-fraud propaganda, epidemic prevention and control, campus security and other work. Finally, Mr Zhang expressed his affirmation and support for the new class cadres, and encouraged class cadres to strengthen contact with each other and build the new class together.
New semester, new class, new atmosphere, through this meeting, class cadres of 2020 will be more clear about the responsibilities and missions of student work in the new semester, laying a good foundation for the smooth implementation of the work in the new semester.
